Investors in People: CIOB achieves gold
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is proud to announce it has achieved We Invest in People gold accreditation.
The organisation’s gold status reflects its commitment to its employees and ongoing work to support those at all levels and stages of their CIOB careers. The CIOB is proud of its work in embracing hybrid working, significantly improving management support and resources, creating opportunities to be involved in initiatives and acting on continuous feedback to drive improvement.
Joanna Quirk, Chief operating officer at CIOB, said: “We’re delighted our people see CIOB as a great place to work and are immensely proud to have achieved We Invest in People gold accreditation for the first time. It’s a wonderful reflection on our brilliant teams and of them living our values and supporting each other. The hard work doesn’t stop here though as it’s important we build on this and continuously improve.”
Investors in People assess how an organisation is performing against the We invest in people framework. They provide advice and support on improving workplace culture over time specifically in areas around employee engagement, communication, organisational culture and work practices. Only 28 per cent of organisations achieve gold status.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate CIOB. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places them in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
